Spain, Lanzarote & Malta 2007-2008

I think that if I was to speak on behalf of our team this year, I would say that it has been a year of growth for us!  It was a hard year filled equally with highs and lows. I believe our team learned new facets of what it means to be ministers. We are not merely ministers because someone gives us a title or status, but because of whom we are at all times! Our team had an incredible gift to meet people wherever they were at and step into their lives. I watched them step out in faith and exercise the gifts that God is developing in them.

Success to this team was not measured in salvations, although that is important, nor in miracles, though we were a part of those too, but in how we had favor to walk alongside people in so many ways and be allowed to intimately enter into their lives. It is still now that we are seeing the ripples of God's grace on those that we were able to love. It is this same grace that God lavishes on us when He chooses to change us as He uses us for His purposes!

As hard as it has been to be a part of something so much bigger than ourselves and have to say goodbye to those we encountered on our journey, we know that this is all just the beginning of a story that Christ is orchestrating. Nothing is coincidence with him and He says that He will finish the good work that He has started. What a promise we have as Christians, as ministers of His gift!
