Canada & US 2007-2008

This year on LifeForce was unexpected for our team travelling across Canada. Unexpected in that we didn't really do a lot of the things usually expected from a LifeForce team: schools cancelled regularly on us because of too many snow days and often we were asked to do more stuff like shovel snow and hang out in malls (no, really!) than perform small dramas. Yet, we felt that the year was so successful in drawing us closer to God, and to our delight, many other people that we met along the way were drawn towards Him as well.

We felt our mission was to be a help and encouragement to the church in Canada, those Christians who stay in the places that we 'blow' through and follow up and pour into the lives of young and old in their communities. Along the way, we saw a blind dog healed (as well as some ankles and headaches), we saw people come to know the Lord for the first time and saw others renew their commitment to Him. We were privileged to enter into people's lives and journey with them for a short time, learning that powerful, God-encounters happen as often at a Tim Horton's as they do in a service in a church building. Our greatest challenge was probably dealing with the massive amounts of snow that pummeled the east coast while we were there! We enjoyed our trip and are blessed to have been used by God to bless people in Canada.
